It seems to me you’ll never find the peace you need
It seems to me you’ll never find the peace you need my lovely
The Emerald Isle is out there
So we’ll brave the wind and lightning
(It’s calling me home)
Today you may be drowning
(She wants you to know)
The sacrifice your making
It seems to me you’ll never find the peace you need
It seems to me you’ll never find the peace you need my lovely
The Emerald Isle is out there
So we’ll brave the wind and lightning
(It’s calling me home)
Today you may be drowning
(She wants you to know)
The sacrifice your making
There's all that you leave behind
The risk that you have taken
To finally see the isle
My echo distillation
It's on my mind
Fight what you feel inside
It's on my mind
It's all you long for deep inside
It's on my mind
Seeking the other side
But it's on my mind
And if we return
I wanted to know if you’ll hold my hand
Mother she knows, brother lets show we understand
And if we return
I promise we’ll know her reprimands
She’ll want us to know
Maybe then we’ll understand
(She said)
It seems to me you’ll never find the peace you need
It seems to me you’ll never find the peace you need my lovely
Every single member of this band is incredibly skilled in their own right, but I love how much they accentuate each other's talents into these masterful tracks. The whole album is excellent. I'm so happy they were finally able to come to my home state and perform.
Incredible band, can't wait to listen to what comes next. quantumquail
This album gave me a bunch of hairs standing up moments. An album for our current times with people awakening, great blend of passionate vocals and riffage. I still remember seeing you blokes rock out the Evelyn years ago, Keep doing what you do! rwhatmou
A meditation on grief and loss, this experimental collaboration between Luna Honey and Norman Westberg is both haunting and touching. Bandcamp New & Notable Jun 20, 2023
